About the artist
CC is a painter and ceramic artist whose work celebrates the quiet poetry of food, home life and the overlooked beauty of everyday objects.
CC blends an analytical mind with an intuitive visual language, creating artwork that is both thoughtfully composed and warmly accessible.
What began as small sketches and ceramics inspired by favorite foods, kitchen tools, and daily rituals gradually grew into a personal practice rooted in attentiveness and delight. CC’s paintings and pottery honor the objects people reach for every day — a bowl of fruit, a crumpled pastry bag, a humble wooden spoon — revealing their quiet charm and emotional weight. Her work invites viewers to pause, breathe, and rediscover the tenderness embedded in ordinary moments.
Today, through ChopChop Studio, CC explores the intersection of art, nourishment, memory, and routine. Her pieces reflect a belief that beauty doesn’t always announce itself loudly; sometimes it’s found in the things we hold without thinking, the meals we share, and the stories written into the surfaces of familiar objects.
